I had a fantastic stay at this homestay in Dambulla. Great value for money with a clean and cozy room. The location was convenient for exploring the ancient cities and catching buses. The family who runs the place treated me like a VIP, with their generous hospitality and helpfulness.
More breakfast choices would have made the experience even better.

We had a fantastic stay at Pawana Rest for three nights. The location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions like Sigiriya and Kaudulla National Park. The owner and his family were incredibly friendly and welcoming, treating us like part of their own family. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with mosquito nets and nice hot showers. The breakfast was amazing, especially the delicious Sri Lankan milk rice and the refreshing ginger tea. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even providing us with juice on arrival and driving us to the bus stop. We highly recommend this hotel.

I always stay at this amazing place in Dambulla. The staff even returned my forgotten sim cards from my first stay. It has free Wi-Fi, parking, luggage storage, and a TV room. Perfect for me. Coming back soon for another trip.

the property is centrally located, making it easy to visit the Dambulla caves, which was the main reason for my trip. It is also conveniently accessible by public transport. the hosts, a delightful family, were very pleasant and welcoming. Their 14-year-old son speaks good English, which made communication easy. They offered us a refreshing juice upon arrival and a comforting cup of tea after our visit to the golden temple. the Sri Lankan breakfast served was delicious, and the evening meal, especially the homemade rice and curry, was a treat. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was truly a great guesthouse experience with a warm and welcoming family. Cons: Nothing, all great! 😄.
